"RIALINOX®" cleavers are manufactured using materials that ensure compliance with current regulations concerning objects intended for contact with food products (art. 16 of EC Regulation 1935/2004 and art. 4, paragraph 5 of Presidential Decree 777/82).
Blade made of martensitic steel AISI 420 N.1.4034 X46Cr13 and N.1.4419 X38CrMo14 with hardness 54/56 Rockwell degrees.
Handle made of non-toxic, non-deformable polyamide (nylon) PA6, resistant up to 180° C, die-cast directly onto the blade.
All materials are suitable for contact with food in accordance with National legislation (DM 21.03.73 and subsequent amendments) and EEC Directive (89/109).

The 28 cm RIALINOX® Turin Model (TO) cleaver is designed exclusively for the professional halving of bovine carcasses in industrial slaughterhouses. The distinctive profile of the Turin Model — with an exceptional blade height of 23.5 cm at the handle's exit — ensures the maximum striking surface for tackling large bovine carcasses. Weighing 3.2 kg and made of AISI 420 martensitic steel, it is the reference tool for dividing heavy bovine half-carcasses.
