Frequently Asked Questions

  1. To put on an FFP1, FFP2, or FFP3 mask, thoroughly clean your hands with soap and water or a disinfectant. Then, position the mask on your face so that it covers your nose, mouth, and chin, ensuring a snug fit. To remove the mask, grasp the ear loops and take it off without touching the front. After removing it, clean your hands again.

FFP1, FFP2, and FFP3 masks are designed for limited use throughout the workday. Generally, it is recommended to replace the mask every 4-8 hours, depending on the conditions of use and the level of exposure to particulate matter or contaminants. If the mask becomes dirty, damp, or difficult to breathe through, it must be replaced immediately, regardless of the time elapsed.

FFP1, FFP2, and FFP3 masks are generally designed for single use and are not intended to be reused. However, in exceptional circumstances where resources are limited, some guidelines allow for reuse under specific controlled conditions. It is crucial to follow the manufacturer's instructions and local guidelines for the correct decontamination and reuse process, if permitted, ensuring that the mask remains effective and that maximum hygiene is maintained throughout the process.

Our "Respiratory Protection" category offers a wide range of devices designed to safeguard respiratory health in potentially hazardous work environments. In compliance with EN 149 regulations, we offer disposable filtering devices that provide effective protection against harmful particles, vapors, and gases. These devices are classified by protection level: FFP1, FFP2, and FFP3.

FFP1 class filtering masks offer protection against non-toxic dusts, water and oil-based mists, but are not suitable for use against carcinogenic, radioactive, or volatile biological substances, including enzymes. For more advanced protection against toxic dusts, water and oil-based mists and fumes, we recommend FFP2 class masks. For maximum protection against all dusts, water and oil-based mists and fumes, FFP3 class masks are the most suitable option.

We also offer valved filtering half masks against gases and/or particles in compliance with EN 405. Additionally, we have reusable facepieces, such as half masks and quarter masks compliant with EN 140, and full masks according to EN 136. Anti-dust filters (EN 143) and anti-gas and combined filters (EN 14387) represent further solutions for personalized protection tailored to specific needs.
