RIALINOX® cleavers are made using materials that guarantee compliance with current regulations concerning objects intended for contact with food products (Art. 16 of EU Regulation 1935/2004 and Art. 4, paragraph 5 of Presidential Decree 777/82).

Blade made of AISI 420 N.1.4034 X46Cr13 and N.1.4419 X38CrMo14 martensitic steel with hardness of 54/56 Rockwell degrees.

Handle made of non-toxic, non-deformable PA6 (nylon) polyamide, resistant up to 180° C, injection-molded directly onto the blade.

All materials are suitable for contact with food in accordance with National legislation (Ministerial Decree 21.03.73 and subsequent amendments) and EEC Directive (89/109).

The RIALINOX® Mod. 29, 26 cm cleaver for pigs and cattle is the versatile solution for slaughterhouses that process mixed animal species. Weighing 2.9 kg and with a 26 cm blade, it combines sufficient mass for splitting lighter bovine carcasses with the maneuverability needed for pig halves. The blade height of 19.0 cm at the handle exit ensures a wide and clean cut along the spine.
